Chancepixies attended the event on Sunday 15th June to demonstrate and show case the Dobermann to help raise awareness of what can be achieved through responsible breeding and ownership.

The 28th August 2008 saw our first Seminar with Pippa Ducat of Best Behaviour school for dogs. It was a well recieved event with a demonstatioon before hand with a couple of our Dobermann and their handlers - Sandra Clam with Chancepixies Femme Fatale (Vita) and Lucy Evernden with Chancepixies Angellica (Josie) - showing what can be achieved through praise and reward methods. The evening then moved on to a presentation by Pippa about dogs, dog behaviour and how our interaction affects them. The evening was finished off with behavioural issue questions being answered by Pippa. It was an enjoyable, relaxed evening and we look forward to working with Pippa in the future and thank you to all those that attended.

VPG TRIAL HELD AT CHANCEPIXIES

Chancepixies would like to thank all those who attended the trail, and thank you to all those who made the trial the success it was!

The whole weekend was wonderfull, with weather to match. Saturday saw the Bridledown site being opened up for all those who wanted to practise, we thank Thomas Nye for all his help with this. It was a good chance to meet everyone and allowed the dogs and their handlers, familiarise themselves with the grounds. Saturday was topped of by an all you can eat and drink BBQ utilising the front building and cafe. I think I speak for all when I say thank you and well done to Gill for catering not only for the BBQ, but also all throughout the weekend, we couldn't have done it without you, your efforts were greatly appreiciated, thank you.

The day of the trial was welcomed with perfect weather, and although it was an early start, everyone was in good spirits, if a little nervous!

All dog and handler teams were well behaved, with only a couple of hiccups, the results are below with congratulations to all who passed and commisserations to those that missed the grade this time.
