CHANCEPIXIES??
Originally
formed by David Anderson and Jean Frost some 25 years ago as their Dobermann
affix when they first owned and showed the breed. Over time this name has
become synonymous with the breed as David, Jean and the Chancepixies Dobermann
enjoyed fantastic and continued success within the show world, (please see
the Dobermann page)

David
has been self employed for about 30 years, involved in catering, kennels
and property.
David has trained most breeds, from Great Dane to Chihuahua and most breeds
in between, and is also a Championship show judge in the UK and has been
invited, and fulfilled, judging appointments internationally. He has has
also trained and competed in the sport of Schutzhund/VPG, having successfully
trained and passed the BH - the German Obedience and Temperment test - with
six dogs and VPGI - the triathlon for dogs which includes tracking, obedience
and protection work - with two dogs and trained and assisted with others,
up to VPGIII.
David has owned, bred, trained, competed with and most notably shown top
quality Dobermann for the past 25 years, having shown both the Dobermann
Bitch CC record holder Eng & IR CH Pompie Sea Jade of Chancepixies winning
some 24 CC’s (a record she held for some 15 years prior to being overtaken)
and also the Male and Breed record holder CH Sallate Ferris to in excess
of 40 CC’s. Other Dobermanns David has bred and/or campaigned and
gained titles for are :

Jean
has owned Dobermann for over 30 years and bought David his first Dobermann
about 25 years ago. Jean has, of course, owned and showed the dogs as David’s
partner in Chancepixies but her true vocation and expertise are apparent
in the field of breeding - puppy care, rearing and of course the care of
bitches in whelp.
Jean has over 25 years experience in puppy care in all breeds. A very hands
on individual with a wealth of experience and knowledge about breeding and
the Dobermann itself. Jean has also owned other breeds such as a Chihuahua,
bulldog, Lakeland terrier, Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Great Dane, Chinese
Crested, Yorkies and Bolognese.
